Beginners welcome! Participants will be introduced to the Unity game engine while learning about workflows and functions most used by the best game studios. During this training, participants will learn about many of the various systems and tools Unity provides for the development of games.
Intro to Unity Workshop topics:
- Workflow general work
- Unity scripting
- The graphics pipeline
- Global Illumination (GI)
- Physically based rendering (PBR)
- Physical Audio Animation (Mecanim)
Before arriving, participants must install the latest stable version of Unity, which for now is 5.3.5 (please do not install the beta due to changes in characteristics and instability). In addition, participants must open Unity at least once before Roadshow - internet needed the first time the software is opened. It is also advised to carry a mouse.
